BC Children’s Hospital
Concepts — Room design — Character posing and clean up
As part of the Kelowna Creatives group, we were selected to create 3 murals for the BC Children’s Hospital new Teck Acute Centre in Vancouver BC.
We wanted to create a whimsical and immersive experience that would help calm kids (and their parents) when going through and MRI. We wanted to make the kids feel like they are participating in a magical wind festival, either in the clouds or underwater.
I was responsible for posing, clean up and flat colors for all the characters in all three murals. I was also responsible for the layout and design of the sky room.
